23 year-old Isaac Dogboe (18-0, 12 KO's) from Ghana took a big step forward in his career knocking out Mexican veteran Cesar Jaurez (20-6, 15 KO's) to win the WBO interim world super bantamweight (122 lbs) title.
The fight took place in front of a rowdy crowd in Dogboe's hometown of Accrua, Ghana.
The end came in the 5th round when Dogboe landed a left hook that sent Jaurez falling backwards onto the mat. Juarez got up, but looked off balance, which caused referee Tony Weeks from the USA to waive off the fight.
Juarez, who has been known to comeback in fights after getting knocked down, was obviously furious with the stoppage. You check check out the YouTube video above courtesy of GhanaWeb TV and decide for yourself. The knockout comes at the 2:05 mark on the video.
