Northern Ireland's Carl Frampton also continued his winning streak. Carl Frampton smoked his mandatory challenger Chris Avalos in front of a rowdy crowed at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast. It was the first defense of his IBF super bantamweight title. Frampton looked awesome and even told ITV1 after the fight "To be honest, it was pretty easy."
Last up, Chris Eubank Jr. bounced back from his upset loss to Billy Joe Saunders last November by beating Russia's Dimitry Chudinov to win the WBA 'interim' middleweight title. Eubanks really handed it to Chudinov in the later rounds causing the referee to stop the fight in round 12. After the fight, Eubanks said, "I'm ready for redemption. Billy Joe Saunders, I'm coming for you."
