Irish boxing star Michael Conlan improved to 6-0, 5 KO's knocking out veteran David Berna (15-2) in 2 rounds.
The fight took place at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York and was the high point for Irish boxing fans in New York celebrating St. Patrick's Day.
It was a dominating win for the 26 year-old Conlan, who dropped Berna in both the 1st and 2nd rounds before the fight was finally stopped 1:00 into the 2nd round.
The fight marked the one year anniversary of Conlan's professional debut. Prior to turning pro, Conlan was an amateur boxing star who famously gave the Olympic judges the middle finger after losing a controversial decision in the 2016 Olympics in Rio, Brazil.
